How to prepare your presentation / poster for the MSE?
All rooms will be equipped with a presentation notebook, projector and presenter.
Please prepare your presentation as a Power Point presentation and bring it with you on a USB stick. Alternatively, it is also possible to prepare your presentation as a PDF document.
There is no recommendation for the best slide size as the rooms are equipped with different projectors. (4:3 as well as 16:9 can be displayed).
It is also possible to use your own notebook for the presentation. However, we do not recommend this due to possible errors in the display, e.g. due to plugging and different resolutions between the presentation notebook and your notebook.
A technical assistant will be on site in each room to help you transfer your presentation to the presentation notebook.
Please be in the lecture room at least 15 minutes before the start of your session so that the presentation can be copied to the presentation notebook and tested again.
Larger rooms will also use a microphone system.
The time for presentations are as follows:
Plenary Lecture: 30 minutes
Keynote Lecture: 30 minutes including 5 min. of discussion
Highlight Lecture: 15 minutes including 3 min. of discussion
Lecture: 15 minutes including 3 min. of discussion

In addition to your printed DIN A0 poster, please also prepare a short presentation of a maximum of three slides.
For more information on how to prepare your presentation or poster, please see the information above and below.
