TopicF: Functional Materials, Surfaces, and Devices
Advances in functional materials are decisive in addressing current challenges for energy conversion. Thermoelectricity allows for the conversion of heat to electricity and vice-versa. In this symposium we aim to cover all aspects of recent thermoelectric developments related to
- the materials including topological thermoelectric materials,
- synthesis and processing, including new routes such as combustive and explosive methods,
- thermoelectric properties measurements and calculations,
- design and fabrication of devices.
Contributed presentations will provide state-of-the-art research achievements in thermoelectricity. This symposium aims at being multidisciplinary and gathering scientists from physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering fields of research.
